Why the sending address matters

On shared infrastructure, sending reputation is the result of everyone's behaviour. Here it is the result of yours.

Reserved sending address

The IPv4 assigned to the server is used by your organisation alone. Volume, frequency and list quality — the factors that shape reputation — depend only on your traffic.

Signing outbound messages

SPF, DKIM and DMARC are configured on the domains hosted by the server, so recipient providers can verify that the message really comes from you.

Blacklist monitoring

The address is checked daily against the main reputation lists. If it is flagged we act on the cause and handle the delisting procedure.

The server is yours, the maintenance is ours

The operating system stays under our management. Everything that concerns mail is administered from MasterMail, with no command line involved.

MasterMail panel used to manage the dedicated mail server
MasterMail: domains, mailboxes, delivery rules and delegated administrators in a single interface.
  • Domains and mailboxes with no waiting

New mail domains, addresses, aliases and forwarders are created when you need them: no request to submit, no processing time.

  • Antispam thresholds per address

Filter tolerance is tuned mailbox by mailbox: public addresses can follow stricter criteria than the ones used internally.

  • Forwarding and automatic replies

Forwarding to external addresses with or without a local copy, automatic replies and service announcements addressed to every user of the domain.

  • Delegated administrators

Management can be handed to several people, limiting each of them to the domains they are responsible for.

What a reserved server means in practice

The practical consequences of not sharing the mail platform with other customers.

No limit on mail domains

The server hosts every domain in the organisation, each with independent mailboxes, aliases and rules.

No imposed sending limit

We apply no hourly or daily message caps. The practical limit is server capacity, not a commercial policy.

Running on a Power vServer

The service sits on a virtual machine with dedicated resources and NVMe storage, not on a node shared between customers.

Spread across two datacenters

The mail infrastructure is split across two separate sites, so an outage at one facility does not interrupt the service.

Administration from MasterMail

Domains, mailboxes, forwarders, antispam rules and delivery queues are governed from one interface, with no command line involved.

SSL certificate included

Webmail and mail protocols are exposed over encrypted connections with an automatically renewed certificate.

Continuous monitoring

Availability, delivery queues and performance are constantly observed, with our engineers acting on anomalies.

Growth without migration

Available storage can be increased while keeping configuration, IP address and existing mailboxes untouched.

Where a reserved server makes the difference

The situations in which a shared platform starts to show its limits.

Mail generated by applications

Order confirmations, receipts and notifications leave from an address whose reputation does not depend on anyone else's behaviour.

Recurring mailings to customers

Regular communications and newsletters with no hourly or daily caps: delivery pace is set by server capacity, not by policy.

Several brands or several sites

Different domains coexist on the same server, each with independent mailboxes, aliases, signatures and antispam rules.

Data separation requirements

Correspondence does not travel through a platform shared with other organisations: a condition some internal policies and contracts require.

Options you can add to the server

Extras you can add to the fee at checkout, or later.

More storage

The 100 GB RAID-1 volume can be extended while configuration, IP address and existing mailboxes stay in place. No migration, no downtime.

At checkout

Additional IPv4 addresses

A second address separates mail flows: ordinary correspondence on one side, application-generated mail on the other, with independent reputations.

At checkout

More frequent backups

The weekly backup included in the fee can be replaced by tighter copies, kept on storage separate from the server.

At checkout

Custom routing

Relay towards external systems, per-domain delivery rules and tailored signing criteria for the applications that need to send mail.

On request

Storage, extra IPv4 and backup frequency are chosen at order time; mail migration is a one-off at checkout. Custom routing stays on request. For requirements that are not listed, talk to our team.

How the switch works

We prepare the server and move existing mail before any traffic is redirected.

1

Server configuration

We activate the domains, generate DKIM keys and create mailboxes from the list you provide, with the dedicated IPv4 already assigned to the service.

2

Mail transfer

We copy messages and folders from the source system while it keeps receiving, so downtime is reduced to zero.

3

MX record switch

We update DNS records and sync the last correspondence. Over the following days we track how the reputation of the new address develops.

Frequently asked questions about the Dedicated Mail Server

Business Email is a shared service sized on storage and mailbox count. The Dedicated Mail Server provides a server reserved for a single organisation, with unlimited domains and mailboxes, its own IP address and no sending limits.
When outbound volume is significant, or when delivery is an operational requirement: transactional messages, periodic newsletters, application notifications. With a reserved address, reputation reflects your organisation's behaviour alone.
Yes. Updates, configuration, hardening and monitoring of the mail services are our responsibility. The customer administers domains, mailboxes and rules from the MasterMail panel, with no command line access.
Yes, at any time and without migration: configuration, IP address and mailboxes stay unchanged. The upgrade applies to the current billing period, charging only the difference.
The daily check flags the listing as soon as it happens. We analyse the cause with the customer, act on the configuration or the sending lists, and handle the delisting procedure with the organisation that issued the listing.
The service can be cancelled at term or with immediate effect. In the latter case we refund the unused months, net of discounts applied for advance payment.
